Church Walks

The walkers meet one a month (usually the third Sunday) after morning worship for a local walk and fellowship.

Our next walk will be on Sunday 20 October

Our October walk is on Sunday October 20 and will be in the Seaford area. We will take cars from church at 1.00 p.m. and start the walk at Bishopstone Church and head up onto the Downs, returning via East Blatchington (about 3 miles /5 km). After the walk, Cross Way Church Seaford has kindly offered us tea and cakes, so it will be another chance to meet old friends there.

The November walk is on Sunday 17 November. This will be a walk in Lewes. It will start from church at 1.30 p.m. and go down through Landport to the River Ouse and then follow the recently improved riverside path down to the town centre, returning to the church for a walk of about 3 miles/ 5 km.

We are not planning a walk in December as the calendar is already very crowded and we have our traditional extra “New Year’s Day” morning walk on January 1, from Cliffe corner up to Mount Caburn.

All our walks are subject to weather conditions, particularly in the winter months
