Lewes helps Ukraine

"seeking to proclaim the Gospel and serve our local community"

So many of us in Lewes want to help Ukrainian people who are fleeing the conflict in their country. Christ Church is pleased to be asked to host a public meetings to be held this Tuesday and Wednesday the 22nd and 23rd March, from 14:30-15:30, to discuss ways that we can work together in our area to help people wanting to come to Britain. Both meetings will have the same agenda. Two slots are being offered as this is very short notice.

The preferred day to meet is Wednesday as Pat O’Toole and Mary Shayle, who have started the Lewes Helps Ukraine group on Facebook can attend. Pat and Mark are in the process of sponsoring a Ukrainian woman to whom they  have offered accommodation and can talk about their experience.  They will also explain the purpose and function of the Lewes Helps Ukraine page.
